All university records are now in "  Banner." Student grades, enrollment, etc., are already all on this system and you must take several training sessions (online) in order to be able to fulfill your instructional duties:

Securing Private Data

In order to access your grade lists or any student data, you will need to take the online training course called "Securing Private Data." To take the training, go to Learning Central:

  • log in
  • click on "Catalog" in the menu items along the top
  • click on "Banner General" in the column along the left side
  • scroll down to"Securing Private Data–Web Course"
  • click on "Launch Content"
  • after you take the course, go back to the "Banner General" page and scroll down to "Securing Private Data–Exam"
  • click on "Launch Content" and take the short quiz (you must pass with a satisfactory grade or else take the course again).

Faculty Loboweb

In the Banner system, you will access your class enrollment lists and perform such tasks as overriding to let a student into a course via LoboWeb. Before you can be authorized for these tasks, you will need to take the "Faculty LoboWeb (On-Line)" training course. To take the training, go to Learning Central:

  • log in
  • click on "Catalog" in the menu items along the top
  • click on "Banner Student" in the column along the left side
  • scroll down to "Faculty LoboWeb (On-Line)"
  • click on "Launch Content" and take the course

Final Grade Submission

In the Banner system, you will submit your final grades each semester via LoboWeb. To be authorized for this task, you will need to take the "Final Grade Submission (On-Line)" course. To take the training, go to Learning Central:

  • log in
  • click on "Catalog" in the menu items along the top
  • click on "Banner Student" in the column along the left side
  • scroll down to "Final Grade Submission (On-Line)"
  • click on "Launch Content" and take the course
  • Click on "Final Grade Submission CBT."
  • This starts the CBT. NOTE: This is a visual and audio presentation, so be sure to adjust your volume
    control to best hear the audio portion.
